Papasean reached # 1 on the local charts.
#2 on the canadian Charts and #25 on the global charts.

Papasean's new single Movin' On is going to apprear in a syndicated radio show called "At The Crossroads" hosted by Brant Zwicker which airs 32 times a week on 27 radio stations.

All right, now that was a good time. The show started out with Stephan from the band Sally Snow. His acustic guitar and strong melodic songs started out the night on the right note. He did a great job, very talented guy with a promising future.
Papasean's first set was mostly rock songs with a great hook , drawing the crowed in right from the first memorable chorus. the second set explored the more bluesy tones of the band with some real crowd pleasers like the songs Jezebel and Long Weekend.
The night was very enjoyable and the atmosphere was electric.

Well were all set to go, the party is at the Princeton Pub this Saturday the 17th. show starts @ 9 with special guests Sally Snow. cover is $5 at the door Tshirts and CD will be for sale.. CD's 10 and shirts 15. See you all there and thanks for your support. Its going to be a fun night!

well we did it! the new CD is all finished. The engineer just has to do the mix down and were good to go. There are 11 rocking tunes on there and I hope you all enjoy them.
So it looks like we are going to be having a CD release party on our next gig at the Princeton Pub on October 17th. its going to be a GOOD TIME don't miss it.

Papasean Johnson is heading into the studio this weekend to record his second album. They are recording at N.A.L. In north Vancouver, with all new material. If all goes as planned the new CD should be released by October 17th just in time for there show at the Princeton Pub on saturday Oct. 17th.

Currently working on new music for our second CD. We have quite a few song to choose from, so I'm really stoked about the release this fall.
Norman Fournier will doing the graphic art work for the CD. He also did my last one as well.
We also contracted Norman to do a music video for one of the songs on the new album. I'm looking forward to working with him on the project.

We played the Yale Pub Blues jam this past Saturday with the new bass player Louise. Everything went well considering this was the first live performance we had together. The crowd was very responsive to the music. There is a video of one of the songs we performed on myspace.com/papaseanjohnson. I'm looking forward to many more. You can check us out next at the Fairview Pub on Broadway in Vancouver on the 26th of May. See you there. :)
